Robbie Nelson – People think he works there, wherever "there" is.
Robbie Nelson – He talks about who he looks like: Not just somebody, anybody, but everybody, actually! He explains that dilemma to every audience he goes before. Whether he’s at a fast-food restaurant, the grocery store, a hardware store, a hotel (they think he's the valet)…or innocently making his way through the stadium parking lot to reach his car (where he is unexpectedly forced to direct rows of traffic), Nelson looks like the guy who works “there,” wherever there is. He also talks about how to get back at your doctor and what happens when his wife decides to “resurrect” her passion. Robbie Nelson shares his life’s foibles through a whole new lens that is unique, fresh, quirky, truthful, and hilarious—a lens that pulls you in and keeps you there.

Though he works as a CEO at a major medical conglomerate by day, he’s as standup comedy as it gets at night!
Nelson keeps his audience in humorous suspense as he searches for remedies to make his life work; opines on the “what to do’s” about life’s irritating challenges; then typically caps things off with candid declarations about the world he lives in—insights that often make perfect sense.
It was seven years ago that Nelson ripped off his pin-striped suit at 5 p.m. tossed his necktie upward where it stuck to a vent, donned his banger blue jeans and a Nirvana shirt, and headed for the clubs to snag a coveted open-mic spot. Having studied for several years at the Orange County Crazies (a 36-year-old comedy institution that specializes in sketch, improv and standup comedy), he finally began to branch out to perform at other venues.
Robbie now plays the rooms that will let him in; some hand him a mic—like local dives, boarded up theater venues, kindergartner's auditoriums, bingo rooms, smoke shops, campfire get togethers, and the offices throughout his company headquarters. Currently, he is finishing up his 2025 cubical tour there. Oh, and he does movies, too, (click films) and plays the clueless guy (not a big stretch for Nelson) masterfully improvising his way through scenes in which he always stands out.
Seriously: He’s available for real club dates, corporate gigs, any of the late-night show broadcasts, major motion pictures, Netflix and Hulu.
